PPA SHOCKWAVE "SHOCK" THE BASEBALL COMMUNITY!!!
This past weekend our local boys made the Semi Final's at Perfect Game. With tremendous pitching, stellar defense, some surprising power and a ton of timely hitting, these young men played into the championship round against some of the nations elite programs. With a "Grinders mentality", and a never die approach our parents and coaching staff we're given the baseball experience of a lifetime. On behalf of all the staff, I say thank you!!!
It has been my honor and privilege to coach you these past years and to watch you grow into fine ball players. More importantly, I've had a front seat to your growth into a truly "baseball family" filled with character, class and pride. I love you all like my own son's and look forward to seeing your years as college players and leaders of our society. ~ Coach Tim

PPA CLIENT DEREK RIVERS DRAFTED BY NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS!

Derek Rivers was drafted in the 3rd round by the New England Patriots. See below a great article about his potential with their team. He started training with trainer/owner Scott Greenman at around 180 lbs and lacking confidence. At the combine he weighed in at 250 lbs and clocked a 4.61 40 yard dash time. He worked extremely hard to get where he is today and deserves all the recognition coming towards him. Congratulations Derek!
WANDO BASEBALL JERSEY AUCTION FOR CHARITY

Pro Performance Athletics donated over 20 custom designed baseball jerseys to Wando Baseball to auction off at the opening game of the H.I.T. Tournament held at Wando this past Monday. A fun time was had by all! All proceeds went to benefit the Carolina Children's Charity, a fund that provides help for children born with crippling diseases and disabilities. A huge thank you goes out to all who participated and to Jane Locke, one of the founders of the charity threw out the first pitch. Members of the Mt Pleasant Fire Dept. were also in attendance.
In under just 2 hours of the game, PPA helped raise over $1,300!
PPA & HARMONY BATS TEAM UP IN YRICA, OREGON

Coach Tim and Coach Neilsen flew out to Oregon to run a professional coaches clinic, followed by a youth Baseball training clinic. Our PPA coaches had a blast working with the players of Yrica bringing them our unique brand of baseball to the west coast.
NOW OFFERING AFTER SCHOOL PICKUP FOR CAMPS!

For your convenience PPA now has the capability to pick up your child from their school and transport them to PPA for their after school program. No more waiting on the long lines at the school or the need to make arrangements to get them to PPA. Our drivers are certified and our two buses are insured and in accordance with South Carolina regulations and laws. We will pick up your child at their school and bring them to our exciting after school programs.
COACHES CLINIC AT PPA VERY INFORMATIVE

PPA held a coaches clinic for Mt Pleasant Rec coaches. This one hour clinic was offered to coaches within the Mt Pleasant Recreation Baseball program. With about 30 coaches in attendance we had a great turnout. We have high hopes for the Mt Pleasant Recreational Baseball program this season!
